'THE LOVED ONES' Trailer and clip! A Pretty Cracked-brained Concoction!

There has been films that have come and gone, some that stick with us for a life time, and those that get thrown away in tomorrow's trash. Without yet seeing  'THE LOVED ONES'  I can tell you that this is one of those movies you'll put up on a pedestal, maybe I'm jumping on the optimistic roller coaster, but from the trailer and the clip (below) I can say that I would place a very high bet of this film arousing more horror fans than a pair of double D tits at a bachelor party. The Loved Ones is an Australian film written and directed by Sean Byrne and is scheduled to be released across seas on October 28th, 2010 unfortunately there is no release date here in the US. Check out the trailer and clip below, you won't want to miss this beautifully, yet macabre structure of film. The Loved Ones may look pretty on poster, but damn, it's a uber-violent, I can assure you that!

Plot synopsis from The Loved Ones : BRENT (Xavier Samuel) has never recovered from the night of the car crash that killed his father; the crash that he was responsible for.

His only solace is his loving girlfriend HOLLY (Victoria Thaine).

But there’s another girl who yearns to comfort Brent, the quietest girl in school LOLA (Robin McLeavy), and when he turns down her invitation to the prom he enters a nightmare beyond imagining.

Hours before the dance, Brent is abducted and taken to Lola’s home by her demented DADDY (John Brumpton) who’s determined to make his princess' dream come true.

Now imprisoned in Lola’s home Brent discovers that her feelings for him aren’t the only thing she’s been keeping a secret, and that he must summon every ounce of will he possesses if he is to survive and prevent Lola and her father from extending her revenge to those he loves most.

This looks so good! It sucks that it wont be released in the U.S. Hopefully it'll be released here on dvd so we can check it out.

I agree Jenny! This movie is the one I want to see more then any other film at this point in time. I think eventually it will be a straight to DVD release. On its release day, we'll be very happy campers!
